Policies & Disclosures

Welcome to our dahlia tuber shop. We are committed to providing healthy, high-quality tubers and a smooth shopping experience. Please review our policies below before placing an order.

Product Quality

We inspect every tuber carefully and only ship those that meet our quality standards.
Each tuber will have at least one visible eye unless otherwise noted in the product description.
Natural variations in size, shape, and color are normal and do not affect performance.

Dahlias are live plants, and their success depends on your growing conditions. We cannot guarantee bloom performance once planted.

Variety Accuracy

We do our best to ensure varieties are correctly labeled.
Because dahlias are hand-divided and grown naturally, occasional mislabels can happen. If you believe you received the wrong variety, please email us with photos so we can make it right.

Shipping Policy

  • We ship dahlia tubers in early spring (typically March–April) depending on weather.

  • You will receive a tracking number once your order is shipped.

  • Once your package is with the carrier, we are not responsible for delays, damage, or loss.

Please double-check your mailing address before placing your order.

  • Learn more about shipping details HERE.

Temperature/Weather Disclaimer

Dahlia tubers are sensitive to extreme cold and heat. We are not responsible for weather-related damage during shipping, including freezing, excess moisture, or heat exposure.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Because tubers are perishable, all sales are final.

We offer replacements or store credit only if:

  • The tuber arrives non-viable or damaged (contact us within 72 hours of delivery with photos).

  • You received the wrong variety (verified after blooming).

We do not issue refunds or replacements for:

  • Rot or issues developing after arrival

  • Failure to sprout due to planting conditions

  • Pest or animal damage

  • Weather-related losses

  • Poor garden performance

Disease Disclosure

We strive to minimize any risk of disease by inspecting tubers before shipping.
However, viruses or bacterial infections may not be visible at the time of shipment. We cannot guarantee tubers will be free of undetectable diseases, but we take all reasonable precautions.

Growing Conditions Disclaimer

Growth and performance depend on factors outside our control, including soil quality, watering, climate, pests, and general care practices. We cannot guarantee specific bloom results or survival once tubers leave our farm.

Photos & Color Accuracy

Photos on our website represent the best possible color and form of each variety. However, actual bloom color may vary due to:

  • Sunlight

  • Soil composition

  • Temperature

  • Growing conditions

These variations are normal for dahlias.

Liability

By purchasing from us, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with planting and growing living tubers. We are not responsible for crop loss, garden failure, or any indirect damages resulting from the use of our products.
